We are a disabled person friendly hotel and if you contact us and explain your needs we can explain how we can meet these and help you plan your stay. We will find you the most appropriate room to meet your needs and arrange the free loan of items we have available. Saving you transport of bulky equipment.

Accessible Rooms
For people with accessibility issues we have many room options depending on level of disability and requirements. We even have a fully adapted room, adjacent companion rooms and ground floor and lift access to all floors. Prior notice enables us to identify and allocate the room that meets your needs. Some lift accessible rooms have a few steps.
Staff
All our management and staff have an excellent appreciation of and understanding of the needs of people with a disability and are trained and empowered to help. You’ll find the atmosphere friendly and welcoming and we have a ‘can do’ approach so your weekend, short break or holiday is the best it can be.
Facilities
We have many facilities that make a significant difference to your stay. Common rooms for reception, dining, TV, bar and dance floor, for example, are all ground floor and accessible by step free ramped access.
Being a large hotel we have space for wheelchairs in all areas including dining room. Our furniture and layouts are designed to accommodate disability needs and generally have wide access.
Free loan equipment
If you discuss your needs before arrival we can provide further details of the high quality and well maintained equipment we have available for free loan. This will help you plan your stay. Facilities include:

We also have close contact with local company that rents out electric wheelchairs – ideal for making the most of the Promenade.
